The Superior General and his Councilors constitute the General Direction of the Xaverian Missionaries whose members enjoy true co-responsibility in the government of the Congregation. It is animated by a community mentality which leads its members to habitually exchange opinions and information so as to almost spontaneously reach consensus in their choices. (Const. n.98)

The Superior General is the center of unity of our family and represents it. In him we see the successor of Mons. Conforti [our Holy Founder]. He is ultimately responsible for the confreres, communities and circumscriptions. (Const. n.99)

In this "game" – which can be done in groups – we present the Superiors General of the short history of our institute. In addition to asking in which years they were called to lead our congregation in this service, we ask ourselves: do we know their origin? Their family? The story of their vocation? The mission they served? Any particular episodes and qualities?
