Every Christian has a vocation. The missionary vocation fits within the context of the Christian vocation. Its starting point is a personal encounter with Christ. It is a personal choice and response to the perceived will of God. The encounter with Christ—which is also at the origin of the Xaverian Mission—changes our lives and is an experience that is constantly repeated throughout our lives and the entire history of our religious-missionary life.

But each of us can ask ourselves: Is God calling me? And: what is he calling me to do? What does he want to tell me? Certainly, no one is useless. God offers each of us his or her specific vocation. And you... have you thought about your vocation/mission?
