Dal 18 novembre al 31 dicembre si svolgerà la visita canonica delle comunità del Messico. I visitatori sono P. Generale e P. Antonio López Villaseñor.
SIERRA LEONE
Makeni, 7 novembre 2015: la Sierra Leone è stata dichiarata libera dall’Ebola avendo trascorso i prescritti 42 giorni senza nuovi casi. Il paese però ha vissuto l’evento più come una commemorazione delle 3.955 vittime sepolte senza funerale e per le quali sono state organizzate fiaccolate in tutti i centri più importanti del paese. Sono ancora molti i richiami alla prudenza giacché si teme che il virus abbia subito delle modificazioni e cambiato comportamento. Nelle chiese non si è ripreso a darsi il segno della pace; sulle strade rimangono i posti di blocco dove ti devi lavare le mani, camminare per un buon tratto e misurare la febbre. E questo almeno fino a febbraio del 2016 sempre che non si diano nuovi casi.
Nella università di Makeni (UNIMAK) medici dell’università di Cambridge in collaborazione con medici dell’Ospedale Spallanzani di Roma sono presenti per monitorare eventuali nuovi casi, e stanno studiando le mutazioni del virus.
La vita scorre quasi normale, la gente si muove con precauzione. Le scuole hanno ripreso a funzionare, uffici e mercati sono aperti. Ma resta sempre un po’ di paura anche perché nella vicina Guinea Conakry la crisi è ancora in atto con nuovi casi quasi ogni giorno.
BRASILE NORD
Belém 5 Novembre: nella casa regionale si è vissuto un momento fraterno ricordando il Fondatore San Guido M. Conforti. Abbiamo presentato agli invitati le nostre attività, come pure il lavoro delle sorelle saveriane e abbiamo ascoltato le loro testimonianze circa l'amicizia con i saveriani. Dopo la gioiosa celebrazione della messa, un pranzo fraterno preparato dagli amici saveriani, e una piccola tombolata con il premio di un presepio di Natale e alcune magliette del gruppo GaMiX.
ITALIA
Parma, 6 novembre: pubblico numeroso nella sala dei Vescovi dell’episcopio per il tradizionale pomeriggio culturale nella festa annuale di San Guido Maria Conforti. Gli amici del cinquenovembre hanno proposto “Parma negli anni. 1915: L’ora delle grandi prove è giunta…”
Ai presenti è stato offerto in omaggio “Parma negli anni n. 19, 1914: Nell’ora triste che incombe”.

Our Superior General, Fr. Luigi Menegazzo, and Fr. Antonio Lopez Villasenor, will officially visit our communities of Mexico from the 18th of November to the 31st of December.
SIERRA LEONE
MAKENI, November 7 – 2015: Sierra Leon has been officially declared free from the Ebola Epidemic, since 42 days have passed without any new cases of the desease. The country has celebrated the event as a commemoration of the 3,955 victims, buried without a proper funeral. All centers, important villages and towns have organized vigil lights processions. Many are the calls for prudence, also due to the fear that the virus may have modified itself and altered its manifestation. In the churches the sign of peace is still not shared; along the streets the controls continue where one is forced to wash one’s hands, walk for a while and take one’s temperature. This will last till February 2016, hoping that there will be no new cases.
In the University of Makeni (UNIMAK), medical doctors of the University of Cambridge, in collaboration with medical doctors of Spallanzani Hospital of Rome, are monitoring any eventual new cases. They are also researching new possible mutations of the virus.
Life continues, almost normal; people move cautiously. Schools are functioning; offices and markets are open. There is a bit of fear still left, due also to the fact that the neighboring Guinea Conakry still suffers from the crisis and, every day, new cases are found.
NORTH BRAZIL
BELEM, November 5th: In the Regional House we celebrated fraternally the feast of our Founder, St. Guido Maria Conforti. To the invited guests we presented our activities and the works of the Xaverian Sisters. Joyfully we listened to their testimonies of friendship with the Xaverians. A fraternal banquet fallowed the Eucharistic celebration. It was organized by our Xaverian friends. Games followed. A Christmas Crib and shirts of the GaMIX group were the valued prizes.
ITALY
PARMA, November 6th: Numerous were the guests present in the Bishops Room of the Episcopal Residence for the traditional cultural afternoon on the occasion of the annual feast of St. Guido Maria Conforti. The CINQUENOVEMBRE Friends presented the fruits of their research: “1915: L’ora delle grandi prove è giunta …”
Those present received a copy of “PARMA in the year 1914, N. 19: In the sad hour which is upon us.”
