«Non riusciamo ad immaginare l’itinerante Gesù di Nazareth assente dalle odierne piazze digitali, così affollate di persone, di ogni parte del mondo, in uscita da se stesse e aperte all’altro!
Motivati anche dalle indicazioni del XVI CG, che ci invitava a “riposizionarci”, abbiamo “scoperto” che i SM, abitati e frequentati da miliardi di persone, interpellano da vicino anche noi, affinché ci “riposizioniamo” missionariamente in rete, per essere più ‘responsive’ nei confronti di “chiunque ci domandi ragione della speranza che è in noi”. (1Pt 3,15)».

From the Final Message to the confreres:
“We cannot imagine that the itinerant Jesus of Nazareth would be absent from the modern digital world, which is so crowded with people from all parts of the world who reach out to others!
Inspired also by the guidelines of the XVI General Chapter, which invites us to “a new beginning”, we discovered that the Social Media (which are inhabited and frequented by billions of people) are also challenging us to “reposition” ourselves as missionaries on the internet, so that we can respond better to “people who ask us the reason for the hope that we have” (1Pt 3:15).

Medellín, 1 - 5 Feb, the following confreres represented the Latin American Circumscriptions at the IV CEMLA Meeting: Frs. Stefano Raschietti and Rafael Lopez V. (South Brazil), Fr.
