Continua intanto la terapia per la malattia diagnosticata. Un saluto cordiale da parte sua a tutti i Confra-telli. Lo ricordiamo nelle nostre preghiere".

POSTULAZIONE GENERALE
Scrive il Postulatore riguardo all’Inchiesta Diocesana sul presunto martirio di Fr. Faccin, i padri Carrara e Didonè e l’Abbé Joubert.
“L’apertura dell’Inchiesta nella Cattedrale di Uvira, il 13 Novembre con la celebrazione del Vespro, ha visto una grande partecipazione di popolo assieme al Superiore Regionale, P. Sebastiano Amato, ad un gruppetto di Saveriani, Saveriane, ai rappresentanti dei Vescovi di Kasongo e Kalemie e a tre pronipoti dell’abbé Joubert venute da Kinshasa, da Lubumbashi e da Bukavu.
Il Vescovo di Uvira, Mons. Sébastien-Joseph Muyengo Mulombe, ha costituito Il tribunale ecclesiastico: ‘Giudice delegato’ il cancelliere, Abbé Mubengwa Mukokya Morgan;
‘Promotore di giustizia’ l’Abbé Amisi Abika Guillaume; ‘Notaio’ il vice regionale P. Ber-nard Cibambo Rubibi sx.
Il nostro Superiore Generale ha inviato una lettera indirizzata al Vescovo di Uvira e che è stata letta durante la sessione di apertura.
L’escussione dei testimoni. Il giorno seguente, il tribunale ha proceduto a tempo pieno all’ascolto dei testimoni. In una settimana ne sono stati sentiti ventuno, dieci a Uvira e undici a Baraka – Fizi.
Ora le sedute del tribunale sono sospese. Riprenderanno dopo il il Processo rogatoriale, che verrà celebrato in Italia”.

Parma, 16 novembre: al Centro Pastorale Diocesano (ex-seminario minore), si è tenuto, presenti più di 150 persone, il tradizionale pomeriggio culturale Parma negli anni, società civile e religiosa: 1916 “… e la guerra con tutti i suoi orrori continua furibonda…”.
Molto apprezzate le relazioni in particolare l’intervento di don Angelo Manfredi su ‘Guido Maria Conforti e la nascita della Unione Missionaria del Clero.. .
BRASILE SUD
Minas Gerais, 24 novembre: con la colla-borazione di alcuni amici del Santuario Missionario Nossa Senhora da Piedade si trova su WhatsApp e Facebook il testo della Novena della grazia a San Francesco Saverio con l'aggiunta di 9 pensieri del nostro patrono (uno al giorno).
L’iniziativa sta incontrando il plauso e l'adesione di molte persone (anche anziani e ammalati) che si impegnano a pregare la novena in casa personalmente e con la famiglia.

An update on the health of the Superior General: "Fr. Luigi continues to receive lymphatic drainage treatment and is also undergoing further heart tests. 4 Dec: Fr. Javier Peguero Pérez and Eugenio Pulcini return to Rome at the end of their visit to the confreres of Japan and the Philippines.
ORDINATIONS TO THE DIACONATE
3 Dec: Elvis Ndihokubwayo will be ordained deacon by Bishop Antonio R. Tobias, in St. Francis Xavier Parish, Novaliches, Maligaya, (Philippines);
4 Dec: Gordianus Afri and Alexander Román García will be ordained deacons by Bishop Enrico Solmi, in the Conforti Sanctuary, Parma, (Italy).
GENERAL POSTULATION
The General Postulator reports on the Diocesan Investigation into the alleged martyrdom of Br. Faccin, Frs. Carrara and Didonè and Abbé Joubert.
“The opening of the Investigation in the Cathedral of Uvira, on 13 November, with the celebration of Vespers, was attended by a large number of people, the Regional Superior, Fr. Sebastiano Amato, a small group of Xaverians, Missionaries of Mary, the representatives of the bishops of Kasongo and Kalemie, and three great-nieces of Abbé Joubert, who travelled from Kinshasa, Lubumbashi and Bukavu.
Bishop Sébastien-Joseph Muyengo Mulombe of Uvira set up the ecclesiastical tribunal: ‘Delegated judge:’ the chancellor, Abbé Mubengwa Mukokya Morgan;
‘Promotor of justice’: Abbé Amisi Abika Guillaume; ‘Notary: the Vice-.regional Superior, Fr. Bernard Cibambo Rubibi sx.
A letter from our Superior General to the Bishop of Uvira was read during the opening session.
Interrogation of witnesses. On the following day, the tribunal began listening to the testimony of the witnesses. In one week, testimony was taken from 21 witnesses: 10 in Uvira and 11 in Baraka – Fizi.
The sessions of the tribunal are now suspended and the next ones will begin after the Processo rogatoriale, which will take place in Italy”.

Parma, 16 Nov: more than 150 people attended the traditional cultural afternoon Parma negli anni, società civile e religiosa 1916, on the topic: 1916 “… e la guerra con tutti i suoi orrori continua furibonda…”. The event was held in the Centro Pastorale Diocesano (the former minor seminary).
The reports were much appreciated, especially the intervention by don Angelo Manfredi on Guido Maria Conforti e la nascita della Unione Missionaria del Clero.
SOUTH BRAZIL
Minas Gerais, 24 Nov: thanks to the collaboration of some friends of the Missionario Nossa Senhora da Piedade Sanctuary, the novena to St. Francis Xavier has been uploaded to WhatsApp and Facebook, accompanied by a thought of our patron saint for each day of the novena.
Many people (including the elderly and sick) have decided to pray the novena personally and with their families.
