“…stare con Gesù, pensare a partire da Lui, vivere con Lui. Nei piccoli vicoli di Gerusalemme, tra una folla osannante e un’altra minacciosa, chi vede in Gesù il  Salvatore, e chi lo considera un impostore :

- Dove sta il mio cuore ?

- Dove, la mia anima ?

- Che posizione prendere in questo dramma della storia ?

- Perché decidersi per Gesù, oppure ignorarlo ?

- Pilato : ‘Sei tu il Re dei Giudei ?’ –  Gesù : ‘Tu lo dici !’

- Pilato : ‘dunque, tu sei Re ?’  –  Gesù : ‘il mio regno non è di questo mondo’.

Povero Pilato, non sapeva più cosa dire. Per cinque volte ha insistito dicendo ‘non trovo in Lui nulla che meriti la morte’. Ma Pilato si trovava immerso in un mistero che andava al di là di ogni ragionamento umano, qualcosa che lo sorpassava immensamente…

• Where is my heart?
• Where is my soul?
• Which stance should one take in this drama of history?
• Why should one choose to side with Jesus, or ignore him?
• Pilate: ‘Are you the King of the Jews?’ – Jesus: ‘You say so!’
• Pilate: ‘Then, are you King?’ – Jesus: ‘My kingdom does not belong to this world.’

Poor Pilate, he didn’t know what to say next.
