“…quest’anno abbiamo fatto riferimento ad AMBEDKAR, il guru dei fuoricasta (Dalit, Das, Rishi, Horijon, Muci... ), anch’egli Dalit, antagonista di Gandhi, insieme al quale scrisse la Costituzione Indiana. Prima di morire, lasciò una lettera testamento ai suoi Dalit, in cui figurano 4 verbi: 1. EDUCA (alfabetizzazione come via alla coscientizzazione contro il castismo). 2.SCUOTI (una volta che hai aperto gli occhi e ti sei reso conto della situazione in cui versi da secoli, devi andare dal tuo vicino che dorme ancora e scuoterlo dal sonno). 3. ORGANIZZA (costruire unità, perché da soli non si va da nessuna parte: l’unità come forza trainante). 4. ABBI FIDUCIA IN TE STESSO (devi credere che, con le armi non violente che hai, riuscirai a sconfiggere il castismo e verrai fuori dalla schiavitù in cui il castismo ti aveva relegato). Gli incontri di quest’anno hanno seguito questa scia, che in realtà è la traccia che abbiamo seguito durante tutti i nostri anni di presenza in mezzo ai fuoricasta… Buona Pasqua.  (Antonio Germano sx e David Gomes Rocky sx)

“… This year we drew upon AMBEDKAR, a guru of the outcast (i.e., the Dalit, Das, Rishi, Horijon, Muci etc.), and himself a Dalit, who was an antagonist of Gandhi, but with whom he wrote the Indian Constitution. Before passing away, he left a testament letter to his Dalit companions, where four verbs appear: 1. EDUCATE (literacy as a way to spread awareness against the cast systems). 2. AGITATE (once you open your eyes and realize the situation you have been in for centuries, you must go to your neighbor who is still sleeping and shake him out from his sleep). 3. ORGANIZE (build up unity, because alone one cannot reach any goal: unity is a driving force). 4. HAVE CONFIDENCE IN YOURSELF (you must believe that, with the non-violent weapons at your disposal, you will be able to defeat the cast system and get out of the slavery in which the cast has confined you).
