Dopo un periodo di vacanze in famiglia per alcuni e un periodo di tirocinio trascorso in alcune delle nostre comunità (Panzi-Propedeutica e Panzi-Parrocchia, Parrocchia di Ndosho/Goma, Casa Regionale, Accademia dei mestieri e la comunità di Vamaro), questo sabato 19 settembre 2026 segna il ritorno di tutti in comunità e l’inizio del nuovo anno comunitario 2026-2027. Quest’anno la comunità sarà composta da 47 membri, di cui 4 formatori, 14 giovani confratelli al primo anno, 16 al secondo anno e 12 al terzo anno, oltre a un monaco trappista (terzo anno). È la prima volta che abbiamo tutte e tre le classi dall’inizio della riorganizzazione delle fasi formative in Africa, avviata nel 2022. Questi giovani confratelli studenti di Filosofia provengono da quasi tutte le nostre circoscrizioni africane (Burundi, Camerun, Congo, Mozambico e Ciad). In attesa dell’inizio delle lezioni al Filosofato Isidore Bakanja, previsto per il 1° ottobre 2026, dedicheremo le prossime due settimane alla programmazione comunitaria e all’elaborazione del nostro nuovo progetto di vita comunitaria 2026-2027. Following a period of family holidays for some and a period of “stage” in some of our communities (Panzi-Propaedeutic and Panzi-Parish, Ndosho Parish/Goma, Regional House, Vocational Academy and the Vamaro community), this Saturday, 19 September 2026 marks everyone’s return to the community and the start of the new 2026–2027 community year. This year, the community will consist of 47 members, including 4 formators, 14 young confreres in their first year, 16 in their second year and 12 in their third year, as well as a Trappist monk (third year). This is the first time we have all three-year groups since the restructuring of the formation stages in Africa began in 2022. These young brothers studying Philosophy come from almost all our African circumscriptions (Burundi, Cameroon, Congo, Mozambique and Chad). While awaiting the start of classes at the Isidore Bakanja Philosophical College, scheduled for 1 October 2026, we will devote the next two weeks to the community planning and the drafting of our new community life project for 2026–2027.
