La Regione del Burundi ha tenuto l’Assemblea Regionale dall'11 al 12 gennaio 2022. Ad essa è seguito il Consiglio Regionale. L'Assemblea è iniziata con una riflessione sulla figura di San Giuseppe, guidata da p. Léonidas Nayuburundi sx. I confratelli hanno vissuto anche un momento di riconciliazione comunitaria.  Tra gli obiettivi dell’Assemblea vi è anche quello di  cercare insieme di consolidare le comunità Saveriane, arricchendole di nuovi confratelli lì dove il bisogno è maggiore. I nuovi arrivati alla Regione stanno facendo notevoli progressi nell'apprendimento della lingua locale e nell'integrazione nella cultura burundese. Siamo grati al Signore per i nuovi operai chiamati all’Annuncio del Vangelo e alla formazione di nuove vocazioni missionarie. (Gabriel Basuzwa sx)

From January 11^th to 12^th, 2022, the Region of Burundi held its Assembly, which was followed by a meeting of the Regional Council. The Assembly started with a meditation on the figure of St Joseph led by Fr. Léonidas Nayuburundi s.x. Confreres also spent a moment of community reconciliation. Among the Assembly’s objectives is that of trying together to consolidate the Xaverian communities by strengthening them with new confreres where needs are more pressing. The confreres who recently joined the Region are making conspicuous progresses in the study of local language and in the effort to enter Burundian culture. We are grateful to the Lord for these new labourers called to proclaim the Gospel and train new missionary vocations. (Gabriel Basuzwa s.x.)
