Dopo quasi due mesi e mezzo non si vedono risultati, anzi il numero dei contagiati aumenta. I dati ufficiali dicono che, attualmente, ogni giorno abbiamo tra i 2500 e i 3100 contagiati per un totale di circa 80.000. I morti sono tra i 35 e i 42 ogni giorno e hanno già superato il migliaio. I guariti sono tra i 200 e i 500 al giorno per un totale di circa 17.000. Ogni giorno si fanno circa 15 mila test.
Con questa situazione così incerta il governo ha deciso di richiudere alcune aree del paese dichiarandole zona rossa.
Con l'apertura delle fabbriche, degli autobus e dei mezzi pubblici di trasporto (soprattutto i treni), il virus si è diffuso a macchia d'olio. Molte fabbriche stanno licenziando molti lavoratori. La Presidente nazionale dell’industria tessile ha dichiarato che il 55% della manodopera dovrà essere licenziato e che non ci sono alternative. Tutto ciò non farà che far aumentare la povertà.
Al momento, tutti i saveriani stanno bene e cercano di attenersi alle regole del governo. In diversi modi, non facciamo mancare il nostro aiuto e vicinanza alle famiglie colpite da questo virus.

Two months and half have passed, and yet we do not see any improvements. Indeed, the number of infected increases. Official figures say that, currently, we have between 2500 and 3100 new infected every day, for a total of about 80,000. The dead are between 35 and 42 every day, and have already exceeded a thousand. Healed are between 200 and 500 a day, for a total of about 17,000. Every day about 15,000 tests are done.
With the uncertain situation, the government has decided to close some areas of the country by declaring them a read zone.
With the opening of factories, buses and public transport (especially trains), the virus spread like wildfire. Many factories are laying off many workers. The national president of the textile industry has said that 55% of the workforce will have to be laid off and that there is no alternative. All this is only increasing poverty.
At the moment, all the Xaverians are all fine and trying to abide by the rules of the government. In various ways we try our very best, not letting without our closeness and help all the families affected by this virus.
