Domenica all’alba, 06 agosto 2023, è deceduto a Douala, Camerun, il Signor Simon Nwala Oum, di anni 78, papà del nostro confratello Simon Pierre Oum Oum.

Da vari mesi il Signor Simon Nwala Oum era ammalato.

Venerdì 1° settembre 2023 la salma del Signor Simon verrà traslata al domicilio familiare per una celebrazione. Sabato 2 settembre ci sarà la traslazione della salma al villaggio natale per l'Eucaristia e i riti d'inumazione.

L’Eucaristia e i riti funebri sono stati celebrati martedì 08 agosto 2023, nella Chiesa parrocchiale di Tziritzicuaro, Michoacán.

On the dawn of Sunday, August 6th, 2023, Mr Simon Nwala Oum, 78-year-old father of our confrere Simone Pierre Oum Oum, passed away in Douala, Cameroon. Mr Simon Nwala Oum had been sick for several months.

On Friday, September 1^st, 2023, the body of Mr Simon will be transferred to his family home for a celebration. On Saturday, September 2^nd, his remains will be taken to his native village for a Mass and the burial.

As we were about to upload XaverianNews, news reached us of the death also  of the wife of Fr. Simon Pierre’s younger brother.

On the dawn of Sunday, August 6th, 2023, María Guadalupe Rebollo Molina, 58-year-old sister of our confrere Fr. Felipe Rebollo Molina, passed away in Tziritzicuaro, Michoacán, Mexico. The Requiem Mass and funerary rites took place on Tuesday, August 8^th, 2023, in the parish church of Tziritzicuaro, Michoacán.
