Tra il 24 e il 27 ottobre, a Cliff House nello Derbyshire, p. Jim Clarke ed il nostro Direttore dei Programmi hanno completato la formazione alla Trasformazione dei Conflitti. Questo permetterà alla Regione di essere coinvolta attivamente nei processi di mediazione in tutto il Regno Unito tra varie Chiese e gruppi di Fede con i quali lavoriamo.

Alla presenza di sua Eccellenza Mons. William Nolam Arcivescovo di Glasgow, p. Montesi ha celebrato il 60° anniversario della sua ordinazione sacerdotale con una S. Nei giorni 3 e 4 novembre, si è svolta l’Assemblea Regionale del Regno Unito a cui hanno partecipato tutti i confratelli della regione. Si è trattato della prima assemblea dalla celebrazione del XIV Capitolo regionale. Il lavoro principale dell’assemblea è stato rivedere le Direttive Capitolari – Focus Missionario in GB oggi, Strutture e Personale, Vita Comunitaria e Autosostentamento. Abbiamo anche riflettuto sul prossimo Capitolo Generale.

From the 24^th -27^th of October Fr Jim Clarke and our Director of Programmes completed the training for Conflict Transformation in Cliff House, Derbyshire. This will allow the Region to be actively involved in mediation processes throughout the UK among the various Churches and Faith groups with whom we work.

On the 3^rd and 4^th of November the UK held its Regional Assembly with all the members present. It was the first assembly since the XIV Regional Chapter and the main work was looking at the Chapter Directive – Mission Focus in the UK today, Structures and Personnel, Community Life and Financial Sustainability. We also looked ahead to the forthcoming General Chapter.
