…scopro sul sito DG di una bella iniziativa: un podcast. Mi entusiasma, ma poi leggo la presentazione:

"Di cosa parla "Passi Lontani"?

Il podcast esplora i temi cardine del carisma di San Guido Maria Conforti, fondatore dei Saveriani:

L’interculturalità: Il dialogo quotidiano con tradizioni e fedi diverse.

La giustizia sociale: L’impegno al fianco degli ultimi per la difesa dei diritti umani e del creato.

La spiritualità del cammino: Cosa spinge un giovane o un veterano della missione a lasciare tutto per andare "lontano"?

Lo spirito di famiglia: La bellezza e le sfide della vita comunitaria e fraterna dei Missionari Saveriani"

Bell'agenda, ma l'annuncio ai non cristiani non era il primo e solo scopo del carisma del Conforti? dov'è finito nella lista? È stato forse diluito con la dicitura "spiritualità del cammino" al terzo posto?

Mi chiedo perché si venga meno dallo specificare il fine "unico ed esclusivo", tanto più che non mi pare il podcast si rivolga ai non-cristiani (nel qual caso potrei anche ammettere di restare sul vago), ma sembra confezionato per cristiani da animare missionariamente…

Interculturality: The daily dialogue with different traditions and faiths.

Social justice: The commitment alongside the least for the defense of human rights and creation.

The spirituality of the journey: What drives a young person or a veteran of the mission to leave everything to go "far away"?

The family spirit: The beauty and challenges of the community and fraternal life of the Xaverian Missionaries.

Great agenda, and yet wasn’t proclamation to non-Christians supposed to be the first and sole purpose of Conforti’s charism? Where did it end up in this list? Has it been somehow diluted in the third item “the spirituality of the journey”?

I wonder why the ‘sole and exclusive’ purpose is not specified, especially since it seems to me that the podcast is not aimed at non-Christians (in which case I could even admit to remaining vague), rather it appears to be tailored for Christians in need of training in missionary awareness…”.
