Nel santuario San Guido Maria Conforti, Domenica 28 giugno 2026, Kong Shaofeng, Simon è stato ordinato diacono per l’imposizione delle mani e la preghiera consacratoria di Mons. Natale Paganelli, Superiore Regionale della circoscrizione dell’Italia. Insieme alla numerosa comunità Saveriana della Casa Madre, c’è stata anche la partecipazione del Superiore Generale p. Fernando García Rodríguez, dei 4 Consiglieri Generali e di una quarantina di Saveriani venuti da tutte le Circoscrizioni del mondo per partecipare al Convegno Internazionale ‘Il Volto Umano del Saveriano’ (dal 17 al 27 giugno 2026).

Sabato 27 giugno 2026, alla vigilia dell’ Ordinazione diaconale, sono state collocate sotto il ‘Crocifisso di San Guido Maria Conforti’, le reliquie di Mons. Luigi Calza, il primo vescovo Saveriano - vescovo della diocesi di Zhengzhou, Henan, Cina - ordinato dallo stesso Fondatore. Ora, entrando nel Santuario Conforti, Parma, si potranno onorare San Guido M. Conforti e i beati martiri di Uvira;  il parmense Caio Rastelli, deceduto 125 anni fa in Cina e posto ai piedi del Crocifisso. Ora, insieme a Caio Rastelli, vi sono ora alcuni resti mortali anche di Mons. Luigi Calza.

A Simon e ai quaranta Saveriani partecipanti al Convegno sul Volto Umano del Saveriano, un fraterno augurio affinché continuino ad annunziare la pace e a portare la luce del Vangelo a quanti non conoscono il Signore Gesù. (Gabriele Guarnieri sx)

On Sunday, June 28^th, 2026, at St Guido Maria Conforti Shrine, Simon Kong Shaofeng was ordained a deacon through the laying on of hands and the prayer of ordination of Bishop Natale Paganelli, Regional Superior of the Xaverian Circumscriptions of Italy. Along with the numerous Xaverian community of the Mother House, participants included the Superior General Fr. Fernando García Rodríguez, the four General Councillors and about forty Xaverians from Circumscriptions around the world who came to take part in the International Conference on The Human Traits of the Xaverian (June 17^th-27^th, 2026).

On Saturday, June 27^th, 2026, on the eve of Simon’s ordination, the relics of Msgr. Luigi Calza, the first Xaverian bishop – bishop of the diocese of Zhengzhou, Henan, China – who was ordained by the Founder himself, were placed under the ‘Crucifix of Saint Guido Maria Conforti.’ Thus, upon entering St Conforti Shrine, visitors can now venerate: St Guido M. Conforti and the Blessed Martyrs of Uvira; Caio Rastelli s.x. from Parma, who died in China 125 years ago and whose remains are placed at the feet of the Crucifix; and together with Caio Rastelli, there are also some mortal remains of Msgr. Luigi Calza.
