Il 9-10 maggio 2023, ha avuto luogo l’incontro della Commissione per la Formazione nella comunità del postulato-noviziato a Bintaro, Giacarta, Indonesia. L’incontro è parte di un piano annuale di discussione e condivisione su questioni importanti riguardanti la formazione di base degli studenti in Indonesia. All’incontro erano presenti i formatori provenienti dalla propedeutica (Tuna-Probandato, Yogyakarta), noviziato e postulato (Giacarta), e comunità della filosofia (Giacarta). Il primo punto nell’agenda dell’incontro era la revisione del curriculum per la formazione dei Saveriani fratelli come richiesto dal XVII Capitolo Regionale. Il secondo tema riguardava le relazioni sui candidati di ogni comunità di formazione per ciascuna tappa della formazione; e una discussione circa la sinergia e i cambi di personale nelle case di formazione. La commissione ha avuto l’opportunità di condividere resoconti delle attività e progetti da realizzare in futuro.

On May 9-10, 2023, the meeting of the Commission for Formation was held at the Xaverian Postulant-Novitiate Bintaro Community in Jakarta, Indonesia. This meeting is part of the yearly plan of discussion and sharing on important issues regarding the Initial Formation of the Xaverian students in Indonesia. Present at the meeting were formators from the Propaedeutics (Tunas-Probandate, Yogyakarta), Novitiate and Postulancy (Jakarta) and Scholastic Philosophy (Jakarta). The first point on the agenda was the revision of the curriculum for the formation of Xaverian brothers as required by the XVII Regional Chapter. The second topic was about the reports on the candidates of each formation community for each stage of formation; and a discussion about synergy and personnel changes in the formation houses. The Commission had the opportunity to share reports on the activities and plans that will be implemented in the future.
