Domenica, 7 agosto 2022, durante la celebrazione eucaristica presieduta da p. Antonius Suhud Budi Pranoto s.x., Superiore Regionale della circoscrizione dell’Indonesia, due confratelli saveriani professi temporanei hanno ricevuto il ministero del lettorato e dell’accolitato. Si tratta di Michael Timothy sx (lettore) e Johanes Sarorougot sx (accolito).

Questi ministeri sono stati loro conferiti in preparazione alla loro nuova missione nelle teologie internazionali. Infatti, entrambi presto partiranno per le teologie internazionali a cui sono stati destinati: Michael Timothy a Manila (Filippine) e Johanes Sarorougot a Yaoundé (Camerun).

L’Eucaristia è stata celebrata nella Cappella della comunità della filosofia a Jakarta. Nella sua riflessione, p. Suhud ha ricordato loro che, in quanto lettore ed accolito, sono chiamati ad essere testimoni di fede nella vita di ogni giorno, mantenendo un atteggiamento e spirito di fedeltà, e una disponibilità pronta. On Sunday, August 7th, 2022, in the Eucharistic celebration presided by Fr. Antonius Suhud Budi Pranoto sx, provincial superior of the Xaverian circumscription in Indonesia, two temporary professed Xaverian confreres were instituted in the ministry of Lector and Acolyte: Michael Timothy s.x. (lector) and Johanes Sarorougot s.x. (acolyte).

The institution was done in preparation for their new mission in the international theology. These two students, in fact, will soon leave for their assigned international theology: Michael Timothy sx for Manila (Philippines) and Johanes Sarorougot for Yaoundé (Cameroon).

The Eucharist was held in the Chapel of the Philosophy Community, Jakarta. In his reflexion, Fr. Suhud reminded them that they are called to be witnesses of faith in their everyday life by maintaining the attitude, the spirit of loyalty, and the readiness as lector and acolyte.
