SECONDO NUMERO DEL GIORNALINO 聖ザビエルの
La circoscrizione del Giappone invia il secondo numero di 聖ザビエルの足跡 (Sulle orme del Saverio, Bollettino "Amici di San Saverio") in lingua giapponese con la seguente nota: “…ne stampiamo 600 copie, gran parte le facciamo pervenire attraverso i confratelli che lavorano nelle parrocchie e un'altra parte (120 copie), personalmente tramite posta.
Abbiamo avuto risposte molto positive da persone legate a noi come missionari, o legate alla nostra storia nelle varie comunità cristiane e chiese.
Abbiamo anche persone che ci leggono tramite amicizie online o sul nostro sito. Penso che questo sia un servizio (sempre perfettibile) che stiamo facendo all’ Animazione Missionaria. Per ora, il gruppo redazionale è costituito da quattro persone: due saveriani, una saveriana e una laica.
Nei due numeri abbiamo avuto contributi per gli articoli scritti da 5 laici e ne riceveremo ancora, soprattutto a livello di testimonianze. Abbiamo ricevuto anche una considerevole offerta con l'incoraggiamento a continuare. Molti i messaggi, le lettere di ringraziamento e le offerte ricevute per far conoscere e diffondere il giornalino.
Sono convinto che questo giornalino sul quale dobbiamo continuare a migliorare, sia uno strumento di "animazione missionaria" efficace che mira a stimolare la coscienza missionaria dei battezzati e delle comunità cristiane (vedi articoli in prima e seconda pagina). Il giornalino è anche uno strumento di comunicazione e continuazione di amicizia e collaborazione tra noi saveriani/e e i laici con cui siamo costantemente in contatto…”.

SECOND NUMBER OF THE BULLETIN 聖ザビエルの足跡
The Xaverian Region of Japan has sent the second issue of聖ザビエルの足跡: “Friends of St. F. Xavier” (in the Footsteps of Xavier”) with the following note: “…We print 600 copies of the Bulletin. Most of them we send through confreres who work in the parishes; the rest (about 120 copies) we send them personally by mail. So far, we have received very positive responses from persons that are related to us as missionaries or that are bound to us due to our history in the various Christian communities and churches we have served.
We also have people reading our printed material through online friendships or on our website. I think it is a service (always perfectible) we are offering to our Mission Education and Formation. So far, the editorial group consists of four persons: two Xaverian fathers, one Xaverian sister, and a lay woman.
In the two issues, we have published the articles written by five lay persons. We will receive more of such contributions, especially of the type of personal witness. We have also received a considerable donation with the encouragement to continue. Many were the messages, the letters of people thanking us and the offerings we received in order to circulate the bulletin and make it known.
I am convinced that this publication, which we must continue to improve, is an effective tool of “missionary education”. It aims to stimulate the missionary awareness of the baptized and of Christian communities (see the articles on the first and second pages). The bulletin is also a tool of communication and friendship, a means of collaboration between us Xaverians and the laity with whom we are constantly in contact …”.
