La risonanza sulla Lettera Testamento apparsa sul sito il 24 dicembre 2020 è una “testimonianza personale e famigliare”, come l’autore stesso la definisce. È scritta da André Edougué, un laico di Douala, di circa 60 anni, che frequenta i saveriani dalla metà degli anni ‘80. Ama profondamente il nostro Istituto e, insieme alla moglie, collabora nelle attività pastorali della Parrocchia “St. Jude Apôtre”. Partecipano al gruppo del laicato saveriano e il signor André ne è l'attuale responsabile. Il titolo della sua condivisione è: Cette Lettre, nous l’avons vécue sans l’avoir lue.
Il nostro confratello Justin Bashagaluke Mihigo è l’autore della risonanza pubblicata il 30 dicembre: La Carta Testamento en mi vida…. Justin, 33 anni, è originario di Luzirhu, un villaggio della parrocchia Santa Bernardetta di Walungu (RD Congo), dove i saveriani sono stati presenti fino al 1990. Dopo il liceo e ulteriori studi in scienze commerciali e amministrative, nel 2012 è entrato nella comunità della Propedeutica a Panzi. Justin ha fatto la sua prima professione a Kinshasa nel 2018. Attualmente sta studiando teologia nella comunità di Città del Messico.
«La Suprema Autorità della Chiesa, come ben vi è noto, ha approvato definitivamente le Costituzioni della Pia nostra Società in data del 6 gennaio u.s. …» (LT 1). Con gioia offriamo uno scritto di P. Alfiero Ceresoli che ripercorre la storia della approvazione (6 gennaio 1921) delle prime Costituzioni. In questi prossimi giorni, ne celebreremo il primo centenario! Il titolo della pubblicazione è: Obbedienza creativa. La Via Crucis di un profeta. Si trova sul sito web della DG, nella sezione dell’anno giubilare ed è scaricabile. Lo raccomandiamo a tutti: è un materiale fondamentale per la formazione; è utile anche nei ritiri e/o tematiche degli incontri comunitari, nelle assemblee di Circoscrizione, etc. Ringraziamo l’autore e raccogliamo il suo invito a camminare passo dopo passo con Mons. Conforti, con i travagli e le speranze del suo cuore, per arrivare insieme al Fondatore alla gioia e al ringraziamento per l’approvazione delle Costituzioni dei Missionari Saveriani. Scrive P. Alfiero: Veramente la sofferenza ha accompagnato questo itinerario – lungo 25 anni – che in certo momento lo stesso Fondatore chiama di “Via Crucis”. Per questo credo vada ripercorso chiedendo allo Spirito conformità di sentimenti e comprensione della novità carismatica che San Guido Maria Conforti andava e va a tutt’oggi proponendo.

JUBILEE YEAR
The Resonance on the Letter Testament which appeared on the site on December 24th – 2020, is a “personal and family testimony”, as the author himself defines it. It is written by Andrè Edoguè, a layman from Douala, about 60 years old, who has been frequenting the Xaverians since the mid -1980s. He deeply loves our Institute and, together with his wife, collaborates in the pastoral activities of the Parish “St. Jude Apotre”. They participate in the Xaverian Laity group and Mr. Andrè Edoguè is the current leader. The title of his sharing is: Cette Lettre, nous l’avons vècue sans l’avoir lue.
Our Confrere Justin Bashagaluke Mihigo, s.x. is the author of the ‘resonance’ published on December 30th – 2020: La Carta Testamento en mi vida…. Justin, 33, is originally from Luzirhu, a village in The Saint Bernardetta Parish of Walungu (DR Congo), where the Xaverians were present until 1990. After High School and further studies in Commercial and Administrative Sciences, in 2012 he joined the Philosophy Community in Panzi. Justin celebrated his First Religious Missionary Profession in Kinshasa in 2018. He is currently studying Theology in the Xaverian Community of Mexico.
The Supreme Authority of the Church, as you are well aware, definitively approved the Constitutions of the Pia Nostra Società on January 6th last… (LT1). With joy we offer a writing by Fr. Alfiero Ceresoli, s.x. that traces the history of the approval (January 6th – 1921) of the Constitutions. In these next few days, we will celebrate its first centenary! The title of the publication is: Creative Obedience. The Way of the Cross of a prophet. It can be found on the DG’s website, in the Jubilee Year section, and it is downloable. We recommend it to everyone: it is fundamental material for training; it is also useful in the meetings and/or themes of community meetings, in the meetings of the Regions, etc. We thank the author and accept his invitation to walk step by step with Mons. Guido M. Conforti, feeling all the pains and hopes of his heart, as to arrive together with the Founder to perceive all the joy and all the gratitude for the approval of the Constitutions of the Xaverian Missionaries. Alfiero writes: “Truly suffering has accompanied this itinerary - 25 years long - , which the Founder himself describes as “Way of the Cross”. For this reason I believe it must be walked asking the Holy Spirit for conformity of feelings and of understanding of the Charismatic novelty that ST Guido Maria Conforti was then proposing and continues to propose today”.
