CITTÀ DEL MESSICO - CONGRESSO TEOLOGICO PASTORALE SULL’EVENTO GUADALUPANO: “Nostra Signora di Guadalupe, l’evento e i suoi insegnamenti per i processi di evangelizzazione”
Scrive Leone XIV nel messaggio inviato ai partecipanti al Congresso teologico pastorale sull’evento guadalupano, tenutosi a Città del Messico nel mese di febbraio 2026: La trasmissione della fede non può più essere data per scontata; per questo, è necessaria un’inculturazione capace di dialogare con realtà culturali e antropologiche complesse, senza assumerle acriticamente, in modo da suscitare una fede adulta e matura, sostenuta in contesti esigenti e spesso avversi”.
Il Congresso è anche in preparazione al Giubileo della Morenita che si celebrerà nel 2031, a cinquecento anni dalle apparizioni della Vergine Maria a san Juan Diego.

Pope Leo XIV writes in his message to the participants in the Theological-Pastoral Congress on the Guadalupe event, held in Mexico City in February 2026: “The transmission of the faith can no longer be taken for granted; for this reason, an inculturation is necessary that is capable ofengaging dialogically complex cultural and anthropological realities, without adopting them uncritically, to foster a mature and adult faith, capable of persevering amidst demanding and often hostile contexts.”
The Congress is also part of the preparations for the Jubilee of the Morenita, to be celebrated in 2031, marking 500 years since the apparitions of the Virgin Mary to St. Juan Diego.
