Dal 15 al 22 ottobre 2023, la parrocchia Sagrado Coração de Jesus nella periferia di São Paulo, realizza una settimana missionaria in preparazione alla Giornata Missionaria Mondiale. Oltre alle “visite missionarie” alle famiglie della parrocchia e gli incontri di preghiere nelle case, ogni giorno si prega per un continente particolare nell’Eucaristia e nelle varie celebrazioni. La settimana è coronata da una veglia di preghiera, sabato 21 ottobre 2023. Seguirà la "festa dei popoli della terra", accompagnata da canti, danze e cibo dai colori e sapori del mondo. From October 15^th to 22^nd, 2023, the Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in the outskirts of São Paulo holds a missionary week to prepare for World Mission Day. Apart from paying “missionary visits” to the families and the prayer meetings that take place in the houses, people are praying every day for a particular continent, during Mass and in various celebrations. The week will be crowned with a prayer vigil on Saturday October 21^st, 2023. Then, the “festival of the peoples of the earth” will follow, with songs, dance and food of colours and tastes that come from all over the world. (Thiago Rodrigues s.x.)
