Nonostante le restrizioni della quarantena, lunedì 8 pomeriggio la comunità della teologia di Manila ha avuto un incontro via “Zoom” con Isnihayah Tomawis Gontor Binumbaran e Noor Fatheema, due giovani musulmane di Mindanao, attualmente a Jakarta per studi, sul significato del Ramadhan e sui frutti spirituali di tale pratica nella loro vita. Alla presentazione del tema, sono succedute diverse domande da parte dei membri della nostra comunità per approfondire maggiormente questa tematica. L'incontro è stato molto semplice e anche molto bello. Alla fine Isnihayah commentava dicendo quanto sia importante conoscere le ricchezze spirituali delle nostre rispettive religioni. Un grazie alla tecnologia che permette di superare parzialmente le distanze, anche tra fedi diverse.

Despite quarantine restrictions, monday 8 afternoon, the Xaverian Theology Community of Manila held a meeting via”zoom” with Mr. Isnihayah Tomawis Gontor Bibumbaran and Mr. Noor Fatheema, two young Mulsems from Mindanao, currently in Jakarta for studies.  The theme for the encounter was dealing with the meaning of Ramadhan and the spiritual fruits of this practice in their lives.  The presentation  of the theme was followed by several questions from the members of our community to learn more about this issue.  The meeting was very simple and also very nice.  In the end, Mr. Isnihayah commented on how important it is to know the spiritual riches of our respective religions.  A great thanks to modern technology that allows to partially overcome distances, even between different faiths.
