Il 27 settembre scorso, alle ore 16:00, presso la chiesa parrocchiale di San Gregorio VII (alla quale la comunità generalizia appartiene), Roma, si è celebrata una messa di suffragio – presieduta dal Superiore generale dei Saveriani, p. Fernando García Rodríguez – per i nostri confratelli deceduti in questi mesi a Parma a motivo del Covid-19 o per altre cause. Vari di loro erano originari di Roma e-o dintorni, altri hanno servito e lavorato nelle due comunità per tanti anni. Insieme alle comunità di Viale Vaticano e Collegio Internazionale San Guido M. Conforti, le Missionarie di Maria (Saveriane) della casa di Roma, la presenza di una sessantina di parenti e amici dei confratelli defunti e alcune congregazioni religiose femminili ha arricchito lo spirito di famiglia.

On September 27^th – 2020,  at 4:00PM, in the parish church of St. Gregory VII (to which  the Community of the Generalate belongs), Rome, a holy mass was celebrated, presided by our Superior General, Fr. Fernando Garcia Rodriguez, s.x. – for all Xaverian Confreres who died in these months in Parma because of the Covid-19, or for other causes.  Several of these confreres were originally from Rome and-or-around; others served and worked in the two Xaverian Communities of Rome for many years.  Together with the communities of Vatican Avenue and the International College of St. Guido M. Conforti, the Missionaries of Mary (Xaverian Sisters) of the House of Rome,  the presence of about 60 relatives and friends of the deceased confreres and some others from various Religious Congregations has enriched the spirit of the family.
