Da lunedì 4 a sabato 9 marzo 2024 si terrà a Roma il I° Incontro in presenza della nuova Commissione Generale per la Formazione di Base. L’incontro inizierà con il saluto e l’intervento del padre Generale e poi seguirà l’ascolto di alcuni contributi di relatori invitati sul tema: “Il contesto giovanile oggi: chi sono i giovani di oggi: i loro contesti, le loro aspirazioni e sfide. Quali implicazioni per un candidato alla vita religiosa”. Alcuni punti su cui si rifletterà e si condividerà: 1) il compito e la missione della Commissione per la formazione di Base nella Congregazione; 2) la personalizzazione del percorso formativo; 3) come accompagnare le comunità formative a partire dal cammino della Commissione generale.
Alla fine dell’incontro è prevista una visita ai luoghi confortiani a Parma.
Prenderanno parte a questo incontro: la Direzione Generale, i confratelli Elvis Ndihokubwayo (Brasile Sud), Félix Kuate Bougieka (Camerun-Ciad), Yustinus Hibur (Filippine), Juan Olvera Servín (Messico), Valentin Shukuru Bihaira (RD Congo).

ROME - GENERAL HOUSE: GENERAL COMMISSION FOR INITIAL FORMATION
From Monday, March 4th, to Saturday, March 9th, 2024, the new General Commission for Initial Formation will gather in-person for the first time. The meeting will begin with Father General’s greetings and address, followed by the papers of invited speakers on the theme: Youth context nowadays: Today’s young people, their milieus, aspirations, and challenges. Which implications for a candidate to religious life. Some of the issues on which the meeting will reflect and share include: 1) the task and mission of the Commission for initial formation within the Congregation; 2) the personalisation of training programmes; 3) ways to accompany the formation communities on the basis of the work carried out by the General Commission.
A visit to the Confortian places in Parma has been scheduled for the end of the meeting.
This meeting will be attended by: the General Direction, and the confreres Elvis Ndihokubwayo (South Brazil), Félix Kuate Bougieka (Cameroon-Chad), Yustinus Hibur (Philippines), Juan Olvera Servín (Mexico), and Valentin Shukuru Bihaira (DR Congo).
