Giovedì 4 maggio 2023, presso la Casa Generale dei Missionari Comboniani (Roma), si è svolto l’incontro dei Fratelli religiosi e missionari dei quattro Istituti missionari di fondazione italiana. Hanno partecipato Fr. Alberto Lamana (Comboniani), Fr. Massimo Cattaneo (PIME), Fr. Francisco Reyes (Consolata), Fr. Luigi Pinna e Fr. Maurizio Zenere (Saveriani).
Durante l’incontro, abbiamo concluso il programma del prossimo convegno intercongregazionale rivolto a tutti i fratelli religiosi e missionari dei 4 Istituti.
Il Convegno, organizzato a Roma nei giorni 26-28 settembre 2023, avrà come tema: “Fratelli in una missione comune: in cammino con la Laudato Si' ”.
Abbiamo anche redatto la lettera di invito che spediremo nei prossimi giorni. In questa lettera ricordiamo gli obbiettivi del Convegno:
Analizzare e rendere pratica l’enciclica Laudato Si', dentro la realtà attuale del nostro essere Fratelli missionari.
Conoscere il cammino dei Fratelli all’interno dei diversi Istituti per arricchirci delle esperienze di consacrazione degli altri.
Approfondire eventuali iniziative/esperienze significative di rinnovamento.
Consolidare la rete di scambio inter-congregazionale tra Fratelli.

ROME – GENERAL HOUSE OF COMBONI MISSIONARIES: MEETING OF RELIGIOUS AND MISSIONARY BROTHERS
On Thursday May 4th, 2023, the meeting of the Religious and Missionary Brothers of the four Missionary Institutes of Italian foundation took place at the General House of the Comboni Missionaries (Rome). Br. Alberto Lamana (Comboni), Br. Massimo Cattaneo (PIME), Br. Francisco Reyes (Consolata), Br. Luigi Pinna and Br. Maurizio Zenere (Xaverians) took part.
During the meeting, we finalized the program of the next inter-congregational conference aimed at all religious and missionary brothers of the 4 Institutes.
The conference, that will be held in Rome on September 26-28, 2023, has the following topic: "Brothers in a common mission: journeying with Laudato Si' ".
We have also drafted the invitation letter that will be sent in the next few days. In this letter we list the objectives of the Conference:
to analyze and put into practice the encyclical Laudato Si', within the current reality of our being religious and missionary Brothers.
to get to know the journey of Brothers within different Institutes and enrich ourselves with other experiences of consecration.
to explore any significant initiative/experience of renewal.
to consolidate the network of inter-congregational exchange among Brothers.
