A Roma, presso la “Casa S. Juan de Ávila”, dal 27 al 29 dicembre 2023, ha avuto luogo il XXXIII Corso di aggiornamento per docenti di Teologia. Per i Saveriani ha partecipato p. Mario Menin. Per la prima volta il Corso è stato pensato e organizzato insieme dall’ATI (Associazione Teologica Italiana) e dal CTI (Coordinamento delle Teologhe Italiane).

Il tema di quest’anno: “L’agire del Dio trinitario nel mondo / Domande aperte”.  Intento del Corso era prendere sul serio le difficoltà e porre alcune questioni che mettano alla prova altre categorie e modelli nuovi. Il corso ha affrontato quattro domande: 1) Può Dio inter-venire nel mondo?; 2) Possiamo pensare Dio senza mondo?; 3) Possiamo pensare il mondo senza Dio?; 4) Possiamo pensare un agire simpatetico di Dio?  Confrontandosi con la complessità del reale, con nuove epistemologie e nuove riletture della metafisica è infatti diventato difficile continuare a pensare l’agire di Dio nel mondo ricorrendo alle tradizionali categorie di causalità e partecipazione. Ne sono emerse proposte interessanti anche per la missione della Chiesa, per nuove inculturazioni del cristianesimo in contesti culturali extra-europei. (Mario Menin sx)

The XXXIII Refresher Course for Theology Teachers took place at “Casa S. Juan de Ávila” in Rome, from December 27^th to 29^th, 2023. Fr. Mario Menin was the Xaverian participant. For the first time, the Course was jointly planned and organised by ATI (Italian Theological Association) and CTI (coordination committee of Italian women theologians).

This year theme was: “The Trinitarian God’s action in the world – open questions.” Aim of the Course was to take difficulties seriously and ask some questions that may put to the test new categories and models. Concretely, the Course dealt with four issues: 1) Can God come/intervene in the world?; 2) Can we think of God without the world?; 3) Can we think of the world without God?; 4) Can we think about a sympathetic (simpatetico) action of God? Faced with the complexity of reality, with new epistemologies and new metaphysical interpretations, to continue thinking about God’s action in the world by referring to the traditional categories of causality and participation has become difficult. Interesting proposals have emerged from the discussion, which touched upon also the mission of the Church and a new inculturation of Christianity in extra-European contexts. (Mario Menin s.x.)
