Dal 29 aprile al 01 Maggio 2023 la comunità saveriana di Salerno ha organizzato la seconda convivenza dei giovanissimi (13-18 anni). 35 i partecipanti di cui 6 animatori. “#IN-CON-TRA” è il tema della convivenza. I ragazzi provengono da diversi gruppi seguiti dai pp. Ferdinandus Supandri sx, Esterel Gaël Anantia Fouape sx, e da Antonella Del Grosso mmx, e da diversi altri animatori.

La parola che definisce il tema “#IN-CON-TRA” contiene 3 preposizioni. Ogni giorno veniva dedicato ad una preposizione. Lo scopo era quello di raccontarci la bellezza dell'incontro e dello stare insieme.

La preposizione "IN" intende sottolineare il punto di partenza in cui ciascuno di noi si trova: le domande, le situazioni, le fatiche e i sogni in cui ogni partecipante si trova (dentro). La preposizione "CON" parla del desiderio di condividere, camminare e stare con gli altri, per cercare insieme il senso del “viaggio”. La preposizione "TRA", infine, indica le scelte che ciascuno è chiamato a fare ogni giorno, il “come” e “verso” dove ci muoviamo, “tra” le varie situazioni, appunto, della vita in cui ci troviamo a vivere.

“#IN-CON-TRA” intendeva offrire una prospettiva di fede, un progetto di futuro, sentendo tutti la responsabilità di crescere e di camminare insieme.

Sono stati tre giorni impegnativi, belli e gioiosi. I giovanissimi si sono divertiti, offrendo - come sempre - il meglio di sé.

From April 29^th, to May 1^st, 2023, the Xaverian community of Salerno organised the second gathering (convivenza) of teenagers aged 13-18. Participants were 35, including 6 educators. “#IN-CON-TRA” (or ‘encounter’) was the theme of the meeting. The teenagers came from different groups that are closely ministered by Fr. Ferdinandus Supandri s.x., Fr. Esterel Gaël Anantia Fouape s.x., Antonella, and several other educators.

Incontra, the Italian word used as theme of the meeting, contains three prepositions (“in”, “con”, “tra”, that is “in”, “with”, “among”). Each day of the event was dedicated to one of these prepositions: the purpose being to tell each other about the beauty of encountering and being together.

The preposition “IN” was used to underscore the starting point, where each one of us is now: the questions, situations, efforts and dreams in which each participants finds himself/herself. The preposition “WITH” speaks of the desire to share, walk and be with others, in order to search together for the meaning of the “journey”. Finally, the preposition “AMONG” refers to the choices each one is called to make every day, as well as “how” we move and our “destination”, that is to say, “among” the different circumstances of our life.

The aim of “#IN-CON-TRA” was that of offering a faith perspective, a project for the future, sharing the responsibility to grow and walk together.

The three days have been quite demanding, beautiful and joyful. The teenagers enjoyed the event very much and, as always, offered the best of themselves. The next gathering will take place in July 2023, from Tuesday 11^th to Sunday 16^th, in Cava dei Tirreni, Salerno. (Esterel Gaël Anantia Fouape s.x.)
