Noi confratelli della Delegazione del Mozambico ci siamo ritrovati a Sena dove da mercoledì 30 aprile a venerdì 2 maggio abbiamo avuto la prima delle due assemblee annuali. L’assemblea è stata preceduta dalla riunione del consiglio della Delegazione, il 29 di aprile 2025. Eravamo presenti tutti e dieci, provenienti dalle quattro comunità: le due urbane (Dondo e Inhamizwa) e le due rurali (Sena e Charre). 

Abbiamo condiviso i PCV, la pastorale e l’andamento della vita Saveriana nelle quattro comunità. Abbiamo dibattuto riguardo l’economia della Delegazione, l’AMEV, la formazione di base e la situazione del personale, sottolineando il fatto che le forze presenti sono al di sotto di quello che il servizio pastorale ci richiede in questo contesto che è ancora di primo annuncio. Abbiamo concluso l’assemblea con le votazioni che esprimono le preferenze per il nuovo consiglio della Delegazione che entrerà in carica nei prossimi mesi. (Andrea Facchetti sx)

We, Xaverians of the Mozambican Delegation, gathered in Sena, from Wednesday April 30^th to Friday May 2^nd, to hold       the first of the two yearly assemblies of our circumscription. The assembly was preceded by a meeting of the Delegation Council on April 29^th, 2025. All ten of us attended the assembly and arrived from the four communities: the two urban communities (Dondo and Inhamizwa) and the two rural ones (Sena and Charre).

We presented our Community Project of Life, our ministry and the situation of Xaverian life in the four communities. We discussed about the Delegation’s finances, the work of Mission Awareness and Vocation Promotion, initial formation and the situation of personnel; we noticed that our present strengths are far less than those required by the pastoral needs of this context, which is still a context of first proclamation. We ended our assembly with a ballot to express our preferences for the appointment of the new Delegation Councill that will begin its tenure in coming months. (Andrea Facchetti s.x.)
