Un anno fa, in questi giorni, ci siamo trovati di fronte all'avvenimento nuovo e imprevisto della pandemia. E mentre eravamo preoccupati per le notizie che arrivavano dalla Casa Madre, anche noi di Tavernerio siamo stati travolti dal virus che avanzava e che nessuno sapeva come affrontare. Noi ci siamo passati tutti, anche se uno solo in maniera "ufficiale" e riconosciuta in quanto ricoverato per 20 giorni in ospedale; gli altri chiusi in casa in isolamento, chi con pochi sintomi chi con febbre alta, sostenuti solamente dai consigli telefonici di qualche medico amico e dal supporto della Protezione Civile. Poi, passata la tempesta, un po' alla volta e con ritmi diversi, ci siamo ripresi. E' già passato un anno! un anno in stand-by, quasi fuori del tempo, con la difficoltà di accedere a tanti servizi, in particolare a quelli sanitari. Ora stiamo tutti abbastanza bene. Solo P. Gabriele Ferrari, all'inizio del febbraio scorso, è stato colpito da ictus. Fortunatamente subito trasportato in pronto soccorso e trattato con le terapie del caso, si è ripreso in fretta. Ora, dopo 2 settimane di ospedale e altrettante di riabilitazione, è tornato a casa in buona forma. Ringraziamo il Signore. (Pietro Pierobon sx)
L’emittente televisiva di Como, Espansionetv.it (ETG + Special) ha realizzato un’intervista di 12 minuti al nostro confratello p. Pietro Rinaldi sull’uccisione dell’Ambasciatore Luca Attanasio. P. Pietro ha lavorato in Congo per parecchi anni. Attualmente si trova nella comunità di Tavernerio impegnato nell’animazione missionaria e vocazionale.
A year ago, on these very days, we were faced with the new and unexpected event of the pandemic. And, while we were worried about the news arriving from the Xaverian Mother House of Parma, we at Tavernerio were also overwhelmed by the virus that was advancing and that no one knew how to deal with. All of us were affected by the virus, even if only one, in an ‘official and recognized way’, was hospitalized for 20 days. All the others were locked in the house in isolation, some with few symptoms, others with high fever. We were sustained and helped only by the telephone advise of some friendly doctors and the support of the Civil Protection. Then, after the storm, a little at a time, and at different rates, we recovered. A year has already passed! A year on standby, almost out of time, with the difficulty of having access to many services, especially health services. Now we are all pretty good! Only Fr. Gabriele Ferrari suffered a stroke at the beginning of February 2021. Fortunately, Fr. Gabriele was immediately transported to the emergency room and treated with the appropriate therapies. He has recovered quickly. Now, after two weeks in the hospital and two weeks of rehab, Fr. Ferrari is back home and in good shape. We thank the Lord! (Fr. Pietro Pierobon, s.x.)
Como Television Station Espansionetv.it (ETG + Special) gave a 12-minute interview to our Confrere Fr. Pietro Rinaldi, s.x. about the killing of the Italian Ambassador Luca Attanasio. Fr. Pietro worked in Congo for several years. Currently, Fr. Pietro Rinaldi is a member of the Xaverian Community of Tavernerio and is engaged in missionary and vocational ministry.
