La riflessione, inoltre, sottolinea che il Saveriano affronta con impegno e serietà la realtà ecumenica, cercando quelle forme di collaborazione che portano all'unità e alla testimonianza integrale del Vangelo (cfr. RG 13.2).  La riflessione si conclude con l'invito che è lo scopo della Settimana: dare continuità alla preghiera di Gesù nell'Ultima Cena (Gv 17,21).

On the occasion of the upcoming Week of Prayer for Christian Unity 2026, the website of the Xaverian Missionaries of the Spain-Morocco Circumscription

Juan Antonio Flores Osuna on the significance of this time of prayer for Christian unity in the calendar of the Christian Churches. The reflection also emphasises that the Xaverians approach ecumenism with commitment and seriousness, seeking forms of collaboration that lead to unity and the integral witness of the Gospel (cf. RG 13.2). The reflection concludes with the invitation that is the purpose of the Week: to give continuity to Jesus' prayer at the Last Supper (Jn 17:21).
