Nel momento di presentare il Calendario 2023, il Superiore Generale scrive: “…in luglio di questo anno avremo il XVIII Capitolo Generale. Il tema scelto che guiderà la preparazione e svolgimento è “Amare la nostra vocazione saveriana”. La si ama nella vita concreta di ogni giorno, nei pensieri, nelle parole, nelle opere e nei sentimenti; la si ama nelle scelte che si fanno, nei gesti che si realizzano, nelle sfide che si accolgono con fede e speranza; la si ama nella disponibilità a realizzare i differenti servizi missionari che sono richiesti; la si ama nella fraternità caratterizzata dall’inculturalità di chi condivide la stessa identità; la si ama… nel giorno dopo giorno, nel tempo prezioso che la Provvidenza mette a nostra disposizione…”

The theme chosen, Loving our Xaverian Vocation, will direct the preparation for and then the works of the Chapter. One loves his vocation in concrete daily life, in thoughts, words, actions and sentiments; one loves it through the choices he makes, the actions he takes, the challenges he faces with faith and hope; one loves it by being available to carry out different missionary services when requested; one loves it in a fraternity that is characterised by the interculturality of brothers who share his same identity; one loves it… day after day, in the precious time at our disposal, the time that Providence gives us…”
