Il Centro Documentazione Saveriani Roma ha pubblicato la prima edizione cartacea delle Lettere Pastorali (1967-1980) scritte da Mons. Danilo Catarzi sx e rivolte alla comunità diocesana di Uvira, RDC. Il titolo della raccolta è “Cadeau de Pâsques” (Dono di Pasqua) e riflette il periodo in cui il primo vescovo di Uvira soleva scrivere le lettere: all’inizio del cammino quaresimale. In generale, le 16 lettere rivelano l’impegno dell’autore di trasmettere e tradurre i contenuti teologici e pastorali del Concilio Vaticano II.

The Centro Documentazione Saveriani Roma (Xaverians’ Documentation Centre in Rome) published the first hard edition of the Pastoral Letters (1967-1980) written by Msgr. Danilo Catarzi s.x. and addressed to the diocesan community of Uvira, DRC. The title of this collection is Cadeau de Pâsques (Easter Gift), which is a reminder of the time when the first bishop used to write these letters, i.e., at the beginning of the Lent journey. All in all, these 16 letters reveal the author’s effort to get across and translate the theological and pastoral contents of the Second Vatican Council. Editor of the collection is Fr. Faustino Turco.
