Nell'anno 1721, l'imperatore KangXi 康熙 (Kāng Xī) emanò un decreto in cui proibiva la predicazione della religione cattolica in Cina. In the year 1721 the Emperor KangXi 康熙 (Kāng Xī) issued a decree forbidding the preaching of the Catholic religion in China. The decree has a long history, which our dear friend Prof. Umberto Bresciani briefly sketched in an article titled “A Sad Anniversary”, now present in our website.
