- Philbert Ntahimpera sx è l’autore della risonanza di questa settimana. “La Lettre Testament: un modèle pour tout homme responsable” (La Lettera Testamento: un modello per ogni persona responsabile) è il titolo scelto della condivisione. La Lettera Testamento, infatti, osserva l’autore “è l’atto di un uomo responsabile che non pensa a se stesso ma al futuro dei suoi figli. Egli ci ha lasciato in eredità l’alleanza di Dio e la Sua benedizione. Un uomo responsabile, un uomo che ama la sua famiglia, pensa sempre al futuro della sua famiglia… Non riesco a capire come monsignor Guido Maria Conforti abbia potuto pensare di lasciare ai suoi figli un tale tesoro. - Del nostro confratello, Fabrizio Tosolini sx, pubblichiamo “Narratologia e Risonanze Bibliche nella Lettera Testamento di Guido M. Conforti”, un testo apparso in Quaderni del CSA, Vol.15, n.2, Special issue, 2020.
La prima parte, più breve, è un tentativo iniziale, parziale, non sofisticato, sperabilmente di facile comprensione di applicare la narratologia - metodo di analisi letteraria usata anche per i testi biblici – alla Lettera Testamento.
Nella seconda parte, più estesa, l’autore cerca - nella Lettera Testamento - la presenza del testo biblico, seguendo in modo molto empirico il metodo di analisi che va sotto il nome di intertestualità. Scrive p. Fabrizio alla fine del suo lavoro: “Da questo breve ed incompleto elenco di testi biblici che fanno da sfondo alla Lettera Testamento si può comprendere come davvero il pensiero di Conforti sia intriso di Sacra Scrittura: non solo nel senso di una profonda conoscenza, frutto della sua quotidiana frequentazione del testo sacro, ma anche nel senso di una percezione si potrebbe dire mistica del senso più profondo e vero della Parola, Cristo. Proprio la compresenza di questo doppio livello, di conoscenza profonda e percezione mistica, permette a Conforti di condensare a tratti il suo pensiero in formule brevi ma estremamente pregnanti, in una sintesi sua, che pur andando oltre il dettato dei singoli passi della Scrittura … si può certamente dire, soltanto biblica”. L’unità tra la vita apostolica e la vita consacrata deve manifestarsi nella vita quotidiana del discepolo-missionario ad gentes. Il cristocentrismo voluto dal Fondatore San Guido Maria Conforti si esprime in atteggiamenti, comportamenti e rapporti del vivere quotidiano con i fratelli di vocazione e con i fratelli e sorelle non cristiani attraverso una santità del vivere, una consacrazione intesa come “immolazione quotidiana” al Signore che sceglie di rivelarsi attraverso le trame di un’esistenza umana, nella precarietà e fragilità dei giorni. E per “alimentare di continuo questa vita soprannaturale”, Mons. Conforti ricorda alcune “pratiche” essenziali, come percorsi di vera obbedienza, trasformazione e crescita, non solo quelle indicate dalle Costituzione, ma anche quelle che le “diverse circostanze del momento potranno suggerirci”.

The Testament Letter observes the author, “is the act of a responsible man, who does not think of himself, but of the future of his children: He bequeathed to us God’s Covenant and His blessing. A responsible man, a man who loves his family, always thinks about the future of his family … I cannot understand how Monsignor Guido Maria Conforti could have thought of leaving such treasure to his children. - We publish “Narratology and Biblical Resonances in the Testament Letter by Guido M. Conforti”, a paper by our Confrere, Fr. Fabrizio Tosolini, s.x. that first appeared in Notebooks of the CSA, Vol. 15, n.2, Special Issue, 2020.
The first and shorter part is an initial, partial, unsophisticated attempt, hopefully easily understandable, to apply ‘narratology’ – a method of literary analysis, also used in the study of Biblical Texts – to the Testament Letter.
In the second, more extensive part, the author searches for the presence of Biblical Texts in the testament Letter. He follows, in a very empirical way, the method of analysis that goes under the name of ‘intertextuality’. Fr. Fabrizio writes at the end of his work: “From this short and incomplete list of biblical texts that form the background to the Testament Letter, one can appreciate how the thought of Conforti is truly imbued with Sacred Scripture: not simply in the sense of a deep knowledge resulting from daily study of the sacred text, but also in the sense of a perception, that we could define mystical, of the deepest and truest sense of the Word, Christ. Precisely the coexistence of this double level of deep knowledge and mystical perception allows Conforti to condense his thought, at times, into short but extremely pregnant formulas. Unity between apostolic life and consecrated life must manifest itself in the daily life of the disciple missionary ‘ad gentes’. The Christocentrism desired by the Founder St. Guido Maria Conforti is expressed in the attitudes, behaviors and relationships of daily life, lived with brothers and sisters of vocation and with non-Christian brothers and sisters through the holiness of one’s life. It is a consecration understood as “daily immolation” to the Lord, who chooses to reveal Himself through the events of one’s life, in the precariousness and fragility of every day. And “to constantly feed this supernatural life”, Mons. Conforti recalls some essential “practices”, such as paths of true obedience, transformation and growth, not only those indicated by the Constitutions, but also those that “the different circumstances of the moment may suggest to us”.
