Lunedì 20 aprile 2026, la Circoscrizione Saveriana del Regno Unito ha accolto p. Mauro Loda in un momento storico per la regione. In conformità con le scelte del XVIII Capitolo Generale e con il sostegno del Superiore Generale e del suo Consiglio, il Regno Unito è passato da Regione a Delegazione. Ci siamo riuniti per tre giorni di Assemblea per offrire alcuni orientamenti al nuovo Consiglio della Delegazione per i prossimi tre anni. P. Patrick Duffy ha accettato di essere il Superiore delegato, mentre Jim Clarke ed Eugenio Montesi hanno accettato di essere i consiglieri. Speriamo e preghiamo affinché questo cambiamento giuridico contribuisca alla gestione e alla focalizzazione della Delegazione. Ringraziamo anche P. Alex Brai che ci ha aiutato a comprendere il progetto XAVI e ciò che possiamo fare per sostenere e aiutare questo progetto che si è sviluppato a partire dall’ultimo Capitolo Generale. On Monday April 20th, 2026, the UK Xaverian Circumscription welcomed Fr. Mauro Loda for an historic moment for the region.

In accordance with outcomes of the XVIII General Chapter and the support of the Superior General and his Council the UK moved from Region to Delegation. We gathered for three days of Assembly to give direction to the new Delegation Council for the next three years.  Fr. Patrick Duffy accepted to be the Superior delegate with Jim Clarke and Eugenio Montesi accepting to be the councillors. We hope and pray that this juridical change will help in the management and focus of the Delegation. We also thank Fr. Alex Brai who helped us understand the XAVI project and what we can do to support and help this project that developed from the last General Chapter. (Patrick Duffy sx)
