Dal 25 al 28 gennaio 2022, la Regione Saveriana del Brasile Sud si è “riunita” in modalità online, a causa dell'aumento del numero dei contagi della pandemia, causato dall'arrivo della variante Omicron. In questa occasione, l'assemblea ha avuto un carattere più formativo, affrontando il tema "Sinodalità e Missione". La riflessione è stata guidata dal teologo p. Agenor Brighenti, membro del Comitato Esecutivo di Amerindia, esperto del CELAM (Conferenza Episcopale Latinoamericana) del Sinodo dell'Amazzonia e membro della Commissione Teologica del Sinodo sulla Sinodalità. Abbiamo dedicato una mattinata anche ad analizzare l'attuale situazione della società brasiliana, con l’aiuto del Dr. Euclides Mance, membro del coordinamento generale dell'Istituto di Filosofia della Liberazione. L'ultima giornata è stata invece riservata agli aspetti interni della nostra Circoscrizione. (i confratelli della Regione del Brasile Sud)

From January 25^th to 28^th, 2022, owing to the increasing number of infections that followed the spread of the Omicron variant of the pandemic, the Xaverian Region of South Brazil “gathered” online. On this occasion, the assembly focused on the topic of “Synodality and Mission” and, therefore, had mainly an on-going formation character. Our reflection was led by the theologian Fr. Agenor Brighenti, member of the Executive Committee of Amerindia, expert of CELAM (Latin America Bishop Conference) in the Synod for the Amazon Region, and member of the Theological Commission of the Synod on Synodality. We also dedicated one morning to analyse the present situation of Brazilian society with the help of Dr Euclides Mance, member of the general steering committee of the Liberation Philosophy Institute. The last day was set aside for the discussion of internal issues of our Circumscription. (The confreres of the South Brazil Region)
