Venerdì 17 maggio 2024, in un pomeriggio ventilato e soleggiato, i confratelli del IV PIANO della Casa Madre si sono recati in pellegrinaggio a Fontanellato.

Scrivono i confratelli: “l’intenzione della visita a Maria di Nazareth, piena di Grazia, è stata quella di deporre nelle sue mani materne le nostre tante suppliche per quei popoli e nazioni dove abbiamo donato le nostre forze. All’antivigilia di Pentecoste 2024, abbiamo sentito il desiderio di vivere qualche ora insieme a Lei, quale Regina della Pace, ed invocare il dono dello Spirito di Dio. Dinanzi alla sua immagine, insieme, abbiamo pregato il rosario missionario, affidando a Maria le nostre ansie e paure e quelle del mondo per le orrende situazioni di guerra che stiamo vivendo. Con la preghiera del Rosario, infatti, ci siamo sentiti vicini a tutta l’umanità sofferente per la disumanità delle guerre, della fame, della povertà e della mancanza di libertà e di dignità. Siamo anche venuti a mettere tutte le nostre missioni nelle mani della Madre di Dio e Madre di tutti noi. E al tempo stesso abbiamo voluto mettere noi stessi, missionari anziani e ammalati, nelle mani amorose della Regina delle Missioni e Madre della Chiesa.

Abbiamo concluso il nostro pellegrinaggio nel vicino ‘Bar Roma’ dove abbiamo gustato un buon gelato offertoci dai coniugi Emanuela e Claudio Vitale.

Siamo anche molto riconoscenti alla Croce Rossa per averci messo a disposizione due pulmini; e a tutti le volontarie e i volontari che ci hanno aiutato con le loro macchine, con bontà e tanta pazienza”. (I confratelli del IV Piano)

On Friday, May 17, 2024, on a breezy and sunny afternoon, the confreres of the IV FLOOR of the Motherhouse went on a pilgrimage to Fontanellato.

The confreres wrote: "The intention for this visit to Mary of Nazareth, full of Grace, was to place in her maternal hands our many petitions for the peoples and nations where we spent our lives and energies. On the eve of Pentecost 2024, we felt the desire to live a few hours together with Her, as Queen of Peace, and invoke the gift of God's Spirit. Before her image, together, we prayed the missionary rosary, entrusting to Mary our anxieties and fears and those of the world due to the horrific war situations we are experiencing. Indeed, with the prayer of the Rosary, we felt united to all humanity suffering from the inhumanity of wars, hunger, poverty, and the lack of freedom and dignity. We also came to place all our missions in the hands of the Mother of God and Mother of us all. At the same time, we wanted to place ourselves, elderly and sick missionaries, in the loving hands of the Queen of the Missions and Mother of the Church.

We concluded our pilgrimage in the nearby 'Bar Roma,' where our friends Emanuela and Claudio Vitale offered us a good ice cream. We are also very grateful to the Red Cross for making two minibuses available to us; and to all the volunteers who helped us with their cars with kindness and patience".
