“Carissimi Confratelli,
sono stato dimesso dall’Ospedale ieri, 1 ottobre, nel pomeriggio, dopo 23 giorni di degenza.
Attualmente la diagnosi ha rivelato uno scompenso cardiaco, per il quale è in corso la terapia, e qualche sospetto al sistema linfatico. Per questo ultimo attendo il risultato della biopsia.
Ringrazio sinceramente tutti voi per la preghiera e la fraternità che mi avete dimostrato. Ho ringraziato il Signore, e continuo a ringraziarlo, per essere membro della nostra Famiglia Saveriana, attenta e sollecita soprattutto quando un confratello è nella malattia o nella debolezza.
Prego di trasmettere il mio ringraziamento anche alle Sorelle Saveriane e ai Laici che mi hanno seguito con la preghiera. Vi ricordo al Signore”. (p. Luigi Menegazzo SX)

DELEGAZIONE CENTRALE
Roma, 5 ottobre: convocati dal Superiore Delegato, si sono incontrati i quattro Rettori della circoscrizione per condividere le programmazioni per l’anno 2016/2017.
POSTULAZIONE GENERALE
Roma, 1 ottobre: la tipografia ha consegnato le biografie, curate da P. Guglielmo Camera, Postulatore generale, dei tre confratelli uccisi a Baraka (Congo) il 28 novembre 1964: P. Luigi Carrara, P. Giovanni Didonè e Fr. Vittorio Faccin.
Si auspica che i tre libri facciano conoscere meglio i tre confratelli e risultino un valido aiuto per le testimonianze da produrre nel cammino verso la canonizzazione.

“Dear brothers,
yesterday afternoon, 1 October, I was sent home after 23 days in hospital.
Currently I have been diagnosed with heart failure and I am being treated for this condition. I am also awaiting the results of a biopsy regarding my lymphatic system.
I sincerely thank all of you for your prayers and the fraternity you have shown to me. I have thanked the Lord, and continue to thank him, that I am a member of our Xaverian Family, which is attentive and caring especially when a confrere is ill or weak.

Rome, 5 Oct: the four rectors of the Central Delegation were called to Rome by the Superior Delegate to share the community programs for the year 2016-17.
GENERAL POSTULATION
Rome, 1 Oct: The Postulator General, Fr. Guglielmo Camera, has published the biographies of the three confreres who were killed in Baraka (Congo) on 28 November 1964: Fr. Luigi Carrara, Fr. Giovanni Didonè and Br. Vittorio Faccin.
It is hoped that the three books will help us to get to know better these three confreres, as well as being a valid help for the testimonies that need to be produced in the process towards canonization.
