Oggi, giovedì 1° dicembre, ci siamo riuniti (quasi al completo) a Miyazaki. Abbiamo celebrato, con un po’ di anticipo, la festa di S. Francesco Saverio assieme al nostro Vescovo Mons. Moriyama. Una bella mezza giornata arricchita da una sentita riflessione di P. Franco Sottocornola, sx sull’affascinante figura del Saverio e da una breve ed appropriata predica del Vescovo. Anche il pranzo insieme al Vescovo è stata una bella esperienza. Ho pensato: il Signore non finisce di stupirci per le cose e le persone meravigliose che suscita sul nostro cammino. Grazie. (P. Today, Thursday 1 December, we gathered (almost in full force) in Miyazaki. We celebrated, a little early, the feast of St Francis Xavier together with our Bishop, Mons. Moriyama. It was a beautiful half-day enriched by a heartfelt reflection by Fr Franco Sottocornola,sx on the fascinating figure of St. Francis Xavier, and a short and very appropriate sermon by the Bishop. Lunch together with the Bishop was also a beautiful experience. I thought: the Lord never ceases to amaze us with the marvelous things and people he brings to our path. Thank you.
