L’intervento di questa settimana in ‘Caro Capitolo’ viene dal confratello Godínez Uribe P. Samuel, sx, attualmente Vice Maestro en la comunità di Salamanca, Gto. (MX). In uno dei passaggi, il confratello afferma: «Dal XVIII CG mi aspetto anche proposte chiare e precise – oso dirlo – riguardo a una rifondazione della nostra Congregazione, o una revisione profonda di tutto quello che ci sostiene come congregazione, a partire dalle nuove realtà, dalle nuove sfide del mondo, dal nuovo modo di vivere la missione ad gentes, ad extra, ad vitam, proprio della nostra Famiglia e del carisma saveriano». P. Matteo Rebecchi, sx (Rettore della comunità di Teologia a Manila), ci ha inviato uno stimolante contributo che pubblichiamo nella sezione: ‘Amare la nostra vocazione saveriana’. L’articolo – dal titolo: L’animazione missionaria: ripiego o priorità carismatica? – è una condivisione sul tema della Scheda 2 (che riguarda soprattutto la Animazione Missionaria e Vocazionale). Scrive p. Matteo: «Penso che si debba riflettere di più sulla nostra vocazione di animatori missionari. … Se migliora l’animazione, tutto viene beneficato. …Viene però da chiedersi … quante sono nel concreto le energie, le idee, il personale adeguato (in numeri e qualità, anche spirituale) che si offre all’animazione missionaria, piuttosto che ad altri ambiti?». In one of the paragraphs, the confrere writes: «I also expect from XVIII GC clear and precise proposals - I dare say - concerning a ‘refoundation’ of our Congregation, or a profound revision of all that sustains us as a Congregation, starting from the new realities, the new challenges of the world, the new way of living the mission ad gentes, ad extra, ad vitam, proper to our Family and to the Xaverian charism». P. Matteo Rebecchi, sx (Rector of the Theology community in Manila), sent us a thought-provoking contribution that we publish in the section: 'Loving our Xaverian vocation'. The article - entitled: Missionary animation: fallback (escamotage) or charismatic priority? - is a sharing on the topic of Issue 2 (which concerns above all Missionary and Vocation Animation). Fr Matteo writes: «I think we need to reflect more on our vocation as missionary animators. As with St Guido, this activity is not a fallback (or an escamotage), but a calculation of effectiveness. … If animation improves, everything is benefited. One wonders, however … how much energy, ideas, adequate personnel (in numbers and quality, also spiritual) are actually offered for missionary animation, rather than for other areas? ». Read all.
