I confratelli che hanno partecipato alla Cosuma Intercapitolare 2021 hanno inviato a tutta la famiglia Saveriana un messaggio finale dal titolo “L’ ad gentes come sfida e impegno identitario del saveriano”.

Nel messaggio si afferma, tra l’altro, che “la COSUMA ha cercato di riaffermare il significato profondo dell’ad gentes, come impegno e sfida del saveriano. La condivisione di alcuni dei nostri confratelli, collegati online, che si stanno inserendo in alcune delle nostre nuove missioni (Tanger-Marocco, Alto Solimões-Brasile, Mongo-Ciad, Umphang-Tailandia) sono un segno evidente che il nostro carisma è sempre attuale. Le difficoltà legate al numero dei saveriani che diminuisce, non sono un ostacolo che ci ferma, ma sono uno stimolo ad aprirci sempre di più…”

The confreres that participated in the Intercapitular CoSuMa 2021 have addressed a final message to the entire Xaverian family whose title is: “The Ad Gentes as challenge to and identifying commitment of the Xaverian.”

One statement in the message reads: “This CoSuMa has tried to reaffirm the deep meaning of the ad gentes as commitment and challenge of the Xaverian. The contributions from some of our confreres, who are initiating new missionary presences (Tangier – Morocco, Alto Solimões – Brazil, Mongo – Chad, Umphang – Thailand) and spoke via internet, are an evident sign of the enduring relevance of our charism. Difficulties deriving from the decreasing number of Xaverians do not stop us, rather stimulate us to further opening up…”
