La risonanza di questa settimana è intitolata “Un anno trascorso con Mons. Conforti”. È scritta da Elena Conforto, Missionaria di Maria – Saveriana, nata a Desio (Italia) nel 1971. Dopo la prima professione (1999) e un periodo di preparazione alla missione a Roma, ha trascorso undici anni in Brasile, lavorando prima a Morro Doce (São Paulo) e poi a Londrina (Paraná). Dal 2014, dopo essere stata eletta Consigliera nella sua Congregazione, si trova in Italia. Elena nel suo testo mostra come la figura di Mons. Conforti l’ha accompagnata fin dalla gioventù. L'anno giubilare saveriano è stata l'occasione per approfondirne la conoscenza attraverso l’animazione dei ritiri mensili alle sorelle di Casa Madre e della Direzione generale a Parma.

This week’s Resonance is titled “A Year Spent with Mons. Conforti” and is written by Elena Conforto, a Missionary Sister of Mary (Saveriana), born in Desio (Italy) in 1971. After her first profession of the religious vows (1999) and a period of preparation in Rome, she spent eleven years in Brazil, working first in Morro Doce (São Paulo) and then in Londrina (Paraná). She has been residing in Italy since her election as Counsellor in the General Direction of her Congregation in 2014. In her text, Elena illustrates how the figure of Mons. Conforti has accompanied her since her youth. The Xaverian Jubilee year has been for Elena an opportunity to learn more about him through the preparation of monthly retreats that she offered the Xaverian sisters of the Mother House and the General Direction in Parma.
