La risonanza di questa settimana ci viene dalla Sierra Leone. L’invito del Conforti: “Amiamo” è il titolo scelto dal suo autore, p. Vincenzo Munari sx. P. Vincenzo, classe 1939, si trova in Sierra Leone dal 1980. Nel 1987 viene richiamato in Italia per vari servizi, tra i quali anche quello di Maestro dei Novizi. Nel 2004 ritorna in Sierra Leone. Attualmente si trova nella comunità di Freetown come Direttore spirituale degli studenti di filosofia.
Nella sua riflessione, p. Vicenzo afferma con limpidezza e semplicità di cuore che “l’invito a scrivere qualche considerazione sulla Lettera Testamento mi imbarazza un poco, perché mi costringe ad un esame sulle mie attività passate, sui valori non sottolineati abbastanza e sulle mancanze di allora e di adesso. Ad ogni modo ci sono valori che ho cercato di vivere fin qui anche se con scarsi risultati personali e comunitari… Speriamo che lo Spirito apra strade per noi e per tutti, ci faccia abbracciare la vera povertà, quella che ci aiuta a scoprire la vera ricchezza, quella che porta la vera gioia”.

In 1986 he was recalled to Italy for various services, including that of Master of Novices. In 2004, Fr. Vincenzo returned to Sierra Leone. He is currently in the Xaverian Community of Freetown as Spiritual Director of the Philosophy Students.
In his reflection, Fr. Vincenzo Munari affirms with clarity and simplicity of heart: “The invitation to write some considerations on the Testament Letter embarrasses me a little, because it forces me to examine my past activities, the values that were not emphasized enough and my shortcomings then and now. In any case, there are values that I have tried to live so far, even if with poor personal and community results … Let us hope that the Spirit will open paths for us and for everyone, that he will make us embrace true poverty, that which helps us discover true wealth, which brings true joy”.
