I confratelli Didier AKSANTI MULONDANYI (DRC), Lucien BISIMWA NAKALONGE (DRC), Justin BULONZA MPURUTA (DRC), Donatien MUNGUAKONKWA BALYAHAMWABO (DRC) e Dieudonné NININAHAZWE (Burundi), al termine della loro formazione iniziale, Sabato 01 giugno 2024 hanno emesso i voti perpetui. Una bella “novità” per la comunità parrocchiale di S. Bernardo, servita dai nostri confratelli pp. Rino BENZONI e Arcade IRAKIZA e nella cui porzione di fedeli si trova anche il nostro Teologato. La comunità parrocchiale aveva partecipato finora solo alle celebrazioni dei voti temporanei.

Giovedì 30 maggio 2024, in serata, si sono riunite nella Chiesa parrocchiale persone di tutte le Comunità ecclesiali di base. Durante l’incontro, animato da p. Arcade, i confratelli Didier, Lucien, Justin, Donatien e Dieudonné sono stati invitati a condividere personalmente il loro cammino di consacrazione missionaria. 

Sono seguite varie domande. Sabato 1° giugno 2024, con la partecipazione di tanti parrocchiani e di persone provenienti da altre parrocchie, i cinque confratelli hanno emesso i voti nelle mani di p. Bernard Cibambo Rubibi, Superiore Regionale.  Dopo la celebrazione è stato servito il pranzo agli ospiti. C’è stata tanta gioia e anche tanta commozione. La generosità delle persone ci ha piacevolmente sorpreso. Un segno dell’affetto e amore della gente verso questi confratelli che sono diventati figli, fratelli e padri spirituali di tanti fedeli, catecumeni, coristi e famiglie di ammalati e anziani.

Qui a Kinshasa, noi Saveriani e tutto il popolo di Dio, siamo grati al Signore, a tutta la famiglia Saveriana e alla Direzione Generale per aver ammesso definitivamente questi fratelli alla Professione Perpetua in questa particolare tappa formativa e in questa terra, alla luce delle celebrazioni dei nostri fratelli martiri di Baraka e Fizi. Upon completing their initial training, on Saturday, June 1^st, 2024, confreres Didier AKSANTI MULONDANYI (DRC), Lucien BISIMWA NAKALONGE (DRC), Justin BULONZA MPURUTA (DRC), Donatien MUNGUAKONKWA BALYAHAMWABO (DRC) and Dieudonné NININAHAZWE (Burundi) made their perpetual profession. This was a beautiful “first time” for the St Bernard Parish Community that is ministered by our confreres Frs. Rino Benzoni and Arcade Irakiza, and which our Theologate belongs to. So far, the parish community had taken part only in the celebrations of temporary vows.  

On Thursday evening, May 30^th, 2024, people from all grassroots church communities gathered in the parish church. During the meeting led by Fr. Arcade, confreres Didier, Lucien, Justin, Donatien and Dieudonné were invited to share their personal journey of missionary consecration. Many questions followed. On Saturday, June 1^st, 2024, many parishioners and people from other parishes attended the celebration during which our five confreres made their vows in the hands of the Regional Superior Fr. Bernard Cibambo Rubibi. After the celebration, lunch was served to the guests. There was much joy and also much emotion. We were surprised by the people’s generosity, which represented a sign of affection and love towards these confreres who have become children, brothers and spiritual fathers of so many faithful, catechumens, choristers and families of the sick and the elderly.

In Kinshasa, we Xaverians and the entire people of God are grateful to the Lord, to the entire Xaverian family and the General Direction for admitting these confreres to the Perpetual Profession in this peculiar stage of their training and in this land, in light of the celebration of our brothers the martyr of Baraka and Fizi.
