Anche noi del 4° piano della Casa Madre, pur nei nostri limiti fisici, cerchiamo di riaprire questo nostro ambiente e riprendere i ritmi e i contatti che avevamo prima della pandemia da Covid. E proprio in occasione di questo 5 novembre, abbiamo pensato di far ritorno lentamente e - con le dovute e necessarie precauzioni - renderci presenti a qualche attività che la grande comunità della Casa Madre organizza.

Con molta gioia ci siamo fatti presenti, almeno in parte, al ritiro spirituale del mattino che si è tenuto nel salone delle conferenze del pian terreno. Nel pomeriggio, invece, abbiamo celebrato l’Eucaristia nella nostra cappella del 4° piano, presieduta da p. Giancarlo Lazzarini sx. In questo incontro eucaristico, abbiamo rinnovato i nostri voti religiosi e missionari. Abbiamo voluto ripetere con tutto il cuore il “nostro personale sì” a questa famiglia missionaria di San Guido Maria Conforti.

La nostra presenza è sempre lì. Si tratta di una presenza silenziosa e sofferente, ma piena di tanta speranza che ci riporta continuamente a “vedere, cercare, amare Dio in tutti.” (Luigi Lo Stocco sx)

Despite our physical limitations, we too in the 4^th floor of the Mother House are striving to reopen our environment and get back to the life pace and human contacts we were used to before the Covid pandemic. For this very reason, on the occasion of November 5^th, we have thought of slowly going back – with the necessary precautions – and participate in some of the activities organised by the greater Mother House community. 

Thus, even if we attended to only a part of it, we were very glad to participate in the morning spiritual retreat held in the big conference hall on the first floor. Instead, in the afternoon, we celebrated Mass in our chapel on the 4^th floor. During that Eucharistic celebration presided by Fr. Giancarlo Lazzarini s.x., we renewed our religious and missionary vows. We wanted to repeat whole heartedly our personal “yes!” to St Guido Maria Conforti’s missionary family.

We remain always in that place. Ours is a silent and suffering presence, but it is full of a hope that leads us to continue to “see, love and seek God in all.” (Luigi Lo Stocco s.x.)
