Nel buio della notte di Betlemme c’è tutto il grande buio delle umane sofferenze di oggi ma c'è anche l’attesa della grande stella che ritorni a brillare e della dolce melodia degli angeli che riempia questi nostri cieli e tutto l’universo con la gioia e la serenità di questo nuovo Natale. È la grande stella della speranza che viene e che porta con sé uno scrigno del tutto speciale, e che si chiama l’Emanuele, il Dio con noi, e che nel pieno della notte ci ripeterà con tutti i suoi angeli “gloria e pace” all’umanità di oggi.

The dark night of Bethlehem contains the great darkness of today’s human sufferings, but there is also expectation that the great star may return and shine, and that the sweet melody of the angels’ singing may fill our skies and the entire universe with the joy and serenity of this new Christmas. The great star of hope comes and brings along a very special treasure-chest; it is called Emmanuel, God with us, and in the middle of the night will repeat with all its angels “glory and peace” to today’s humankind.
