Vivendo il Natale nella casa saveriana di Vicenza, il nostro pensiero va facilmente alle celebrazioni solenni vissute in missione nelle varie parti del mondo. Ma non è semplice nostalgia, è memoria che si fa presente e attuale nella profonda fede nell’accogliere Gesù nel quotidiano. Egli viene bambino, ci seduce ancora e porta in ciascuno di noi e nella nostra casa la gioia. Siamo felici del nostro passato e felici di quello che viviamo ora. A voi, fratelli nei vari continenti, ci uniamo e con voi viviamo il Natale nella sua reale venuta d’accoglienza in tanti cuori.  Vi auguriamo Buon Natale nella missione di Gesù fattosi bambino e buona salute nel lavorare per il suo regno. As we spend Christmas in the Xaverian house of Vicenza, our thoughts easily go to the solemn celebrations we experienced in mission in different parts of the world. However, this is not simply nostalgia, but memory that becomes present and relevant through faith in welcoming Jesus every day. He comes as a child; once again he wins us over and brings joy to each one of us and to our house. We are happy about our past and happy about what we are living now. We are united with you, brothers in various continents, and with you we live Christmas, the real coming of Jesus as he is welcomed by many hearts.
