Domenica 7 dicembre 2025, a Wellington-Freetown, Sierra Leone, si è celebrata la festa patronale della nostra quasi-parrocchia di San Francesco Saverio. È stato un momento di preghiera e di raccolta fondi, poiché la costruzione della chiesa non è ancora terminata. Per raccogliere fondi abbiamo invitato alcuni benefattori locali e abbiamo organizzato l'elezione dell’uomo dell'anno, chiamato “padre della Chiesa”, e della donna dell'anno, chiamata “madre della Chiesa”. Il vincitore è colui che ha ricevuto più sostegno finanziario rispetto agli altri. L'Eucaristia è stata presieduta da p. François Noah Onguene, superiore della nostra delegazione in Sierra Leone. On Sunday, December 7^th, 2025, at Wellington-Freetown, Sierra Leone, was the patron feast of our Saint Francis Xavier quasi parish. It was a moment of praying and of fund rising since the building of the church is not finished yet. To get some fund we invited some local benefactors and we organised the choice of the man of the year called "father of the church" and of the woman of the year called "mother of the church". The winner is the one who has been more supported financially than the others. The Eucharist was over presided by Fr François Noah Onguene, superior of our Delegation in Sierra Leone.
