In occasione della Giornata Mondiale di Preghiera e Riflessione contro la tratta (08 febbraio 2024), 50 giovani, rappresentanti delle diverse organizzazioni impegnate in tutto il mondo sul fronte della lotta allo sfruttamento, si riuniranno a Roma dal 5 all’8 febbraio 2024 per riflettere, pregare, raccontare e condividere le loro esperienze e individuare nuovi passi di azione.
La giornata di preghiera contro la tratta, istituita da papa Francesco nel 2015, sarà trasmessa in streaming (in 5 lingue) su www.preghieracontrotratta.org.
Le giornate sono coordinate da Talitha Kum, la rete internazionale anti-tratta che conta più di seimila suore, amici e partner, ed è promossa dall’Unione Internazionale delle Superiore Generali (Uisg) e dall’Unione dei Superiori Generali (Usg), in collaborazione con il Dicastero per il Servizio dello Sviluppo Umano Integrale, il Dicastero della Comunicazione, il Dicastero per gli Istituti di Vita Consacrata e le Società di Vita Apostolica, Caritas Internationalis, il Movimento dei Focolari, il Jesuit Refugee Service, la Comunità Papa Giovanni XXIII, la Federazione Internazionale Azione Cattolica.

“TALITHA KUM”: INTERNATIONAL ANTI-TRAFFICKING NETWORK
On the occasion of the World Day of Prayer and Reflection against Trafficking (February 8, 2024), 50 young people, representatives of different organizations engaged worldwide in the fight against exploitation, will gather in Rome from February 5 to 8, 2024 to reflect, pray, tell and share their experiences and identify new steps for action.
The Day of Prayer against Trafficking, established by Pope Francis in 2015, will be streamed (in 5 languages) at www.preghieracontrotratta.org.
The days are coordinated by Talitha Kum, the international anti-trafficking network of more than six thousand sisters, friends and partners, and is promoted by the International Union of Superiors General (Uisg) and the Union of Superiors General (Usg), in collaboration with the Dicastery for the Service of Integral Human Development, the Dicastery for Communication, the Dicastery for Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life, Caritas Internationalis, the Focolare Movement, the Jesuit Refugee Service, the Pope John XXIII Community, and the International Federation of Catholic Action.
