Il confratello, 82 anni e attualmente in Brasile, descrive a Caro Capitolo il sogno di una primavera missionaria: «Il prossimo Capitolo sarà il 1º Capitolo Generale della Famiglia Carismatica Saveriana. … Sarà a modalità itinerante, cominciando da Casalora-Ravadese …; sarà un “andate”, per una testimonianza di vita, come agli albori delle comunità cristiane, per uno scambio di doni, cominciando magari dalle lingue...». It will be in an itinerant modality, starting from Casalora-Ravadese ...; it will be a "go!", for a witness of life, as in the early days of Christian communities, for an exchange of gifts, perhaps starting with learning languages...». They tell us about their commitment in the various missionary fields which, for more than forty years, have characterized the presence of Xaverians in these two African countries: the Catechumenate, the opening of a new Xaverian community in Bitkine (Chad), the Xavier Center in Douala (AMeV) and the activity of Radio Terre nouvelle (Diocese of Pala, Chad), created in 2000 and directed by the Xaverians since 2005.
