“ASIA: Quale risposta, come Saveriani, alla Missione ad Gentes?”

Il tema Chiesa Locale e Parrocchia Missionaria occupa il tempo dedicato di tutta la prima sessione della giornata. Con qualche condivisione sulla attuale situazione dell’attività nelle comunità parrocchiali delle circoscrizioni si cerca di vederne i parametri comuni coi quali valutare le esperienze in atto e riconoscerne la compatibilità con le esigenze del nostro carisma.
Il secondo incontro mattutino ci impegna sul classico tema di “Missione ed Economia” con tutte le appendici ad esso collegate e messe in evidenza nelle relazioni locali: es. Stili di Vita, Autosostentamento, benefattori, cassa comune, condivisione, FoCoGe, etc.
Nel pomeriggio si è lavorato assemblearmente in una sola sessione, per dare spazio al lavoro dei gruppi incaricati di riassumere i contenuti emersi. Nella sessione stessa si è dato alle comunicazioni importanti della DG. Queste riguardavano alcuni temi tra i quali il ruolo dei superiori di circoscrizione, l’economia (Convegno Economi 2019), tutela dei minori (vedi lettera DG del 29 Febbraio), etc.
La giornata si conclude con il terzo appuntamento con una comunità della famiglia sx dell’Indonesia, ovvero la serata con lo studentato filosofico. Tre padri e 13 studenti.

“Asia: which answer, as Xaverians, to the mission ad gentes?”

The theme Local Church and Missionary Parish took up the whole first session of the day. Sharing experiences on the present way activities are carried out in the parish communities of our Circumscriptions, we tried to find common patterns in order to evaluate what is being done and discover its compatibility with the demands of our charism.
The second morning session kept us busy on the theme of Mission and Economy together with all that such area implies and was emphasized by our reports: such as life-style, self-support, benefactors, common fund, sharing, FoCoGe, etc.
In the afternoon we gathered all together for just one session so as to leave time to the small groups in charge of summarizing the points we dealt with. In this session we gave time to important communications by the members of the general Direction. These comments had to do with the role of the superior in a Circumscription, the economy (meeting of procurators 2019), the protection of minors (see Letter of the GD, February 29, 2019) etc. The day concluded with the third appointment with a community of the Xaverian Family in Indonesia, namely, the community of Philosophy: three fathers and 13 students.
